MEET VIK

Vik Patel is a housing and energy justice lawyer and democratic socialist running for Philadelphia City Council At-Large.

Growing up, his family experienced eviction and food insecurity, inspiring him to become a legal aid attorney at Community Legal Services. Since then, he has spent his career fighting for working Philadelphians: helping establish Philadelphia's Eviction Diversion Program to keep families in their homes, representing tenants facing eviction, and serving as Managing Attorney of CLS's Energy Unit, where he fought utility rate hikes and works to keep families connected to heat and electricity.

Vik knows firsthand how hard it can be to get by in Philadelphia, and believes government can do more to make life affordable. Now, he's running to bring that experience to City Hall — to lower housing and energy costs, protect working families, and build a government that works for all of us.

HELP US BUILD VIK'S CAMPAIGN.

Vik is running for City Council to make Philadelphia a city where everyone can afford to live and build a future. Over the coming months, we'll be organizing across the city, meeting with neighbors, hosting events, and getting our message out to voters.

Your contribution will help us build a grassroots campaign, reach Philadelphians in every neighborhood, and bring our fight for a more affordable city to City Hall.

BIG CITY. LOTS OF PLACES TO BE.

Philadelphia is a big city, and we can't be everywhere at once. But we want to show up wherever people are coming together to make our city better.

Neighborhood meetings, community events, rallies, block parties, fundraisers — if there's somewhere Vik should be, let us know!

Big or small, all across Philly. Help us show up.
